Architecture as of late is immersed in a big cultural test referred to as imaging. We will really feel our photographs converting us. Our dating to our feelings, to our experience of time, to the cadence of our attentiveness–all of that is now matter to speedy revision. To patiently describe the sector to oneself is to arrange the bottom for a politics that doesn’t but exist. Signal. Symbol. Structure. is a pathographic manifesto: a philosophical prognosis of Structure’s technical awareness sooner than and after digital photographs. What occurs to the architectural thoughts whilst it after all realizes that photographs aren’t drawings? Or whilst it realizes that every one politics are actually first a politics of imaging? Those are questions that the layout fields have scarcely started to pose, imagining that in some way their concepts and practices can withstand the tradition of imaging by which all of existence now both swims or drowns.
